Gillian
lives and works in Haverfordwest. After taking early retirement
from working as a headteacher, Gillian turned to painting,
one of her abiding passions
"I like large canvasses and usually work in acrylic,
which is capable of producing chalky effects or deeper colours,
similar to those that can be had with oils.
"The sky, the sea and the open road are infinitely appealing
and I seek lonely places, the raw edges, where colour bleeds,
pulses and explodes.
